In this job you are responsible for the sales from the customer relation until the sales contract.

The challenge in this position is to keep and renew your relationships with our customers and prospects. From there you pick up the leads in the market.
The sales process always starts with a client’s solid product and the processing methods required in order to produce the end product. You are able to think along in this process and come up with innovative ideas in cooperation with our engineering department to meet all the clients expectations. Gericke has clients in several industries with high standards and demands.

The client demands are often specified in a tendering document and it is your responsibility to filter the relevant information from this document and translate this, so internal sales can make their calculations and offer, supported by flowsheets and global 3D layouts. The tendering phase also requires meeting many specifications on quality, safety and technical areas, supported by extensive documentation, certificates (CE, PED, ATEX, Hygiene) and analyses. You negotiate with customer and if succeeded you handover the project to the project manager.

Extensive knowledge of and experience with the Gericke products is present within the organization, both in The Netherlands as well as in Switzerland, which you can use by working together closely with your colleagues in both countries. A few times a year you visit a seminar or exhibition along with your colleagues.

You are reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Required

  • 3 years minimal working experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience with sales of capex goods.
  • Experience in process engineering and a completed technical study on an Practical University level, specialized education in bulk-handling is an advantage.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, German is also an advantage.
  • Prepared for regular travel around Netherlands or Belgium.
