Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the correct execution of the Project and to ensure the successful outcome of the Contract.
- Visiting the Client sites for detailed discussions, site measurement and coordination purposes.
- Execution of the project drawings in 2D and 3D.
- Evaluation of technical specifications and establishment of the bill of material.
- Liaison with Gericke Factory, Group Suppliers and Sub-Contractors.
- Arranging and witnessing post contract product trials.
- Negotiating with Suppliers and placing of sub-orders (including writing technical specifications) via the Purchasing Department.
- Progressing delivery of all equipment to maintain programme.
- Maintaining the Contract Cost Control Log and ensuring that the overall budget and margins are met.
- Arranging inspection of equipment.
- Coordinating deliveries and transport to site.
- Arranging the mechanical and electrical installation of the Plant and ensuring adequate site supervision.
- Arranging and participating in Plant erection and commissioning.
- Ensuring that the Contract is operated in accordance with all legal requirements.
- Maintaining the Contract File and Reporting System in accordance with the Company's Quality System. Especially tracking cost control and project time schedule.
- Providing all documentation required by the Contract, Operating and Maintenance Manual and providing spare parts quotations.
- Preparation of flow sheets for the sales and proposal engineers.
- Participation during commissioning and servicing of delivered equipment and systems.
- On occasion, the Engineering Manager may request other duties to be undertaken.

- Provide customers with excellent customer service either by assisting over the phone or at a customer's facility.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2 years of industrial process control experience preferred.
- Experience in the field working to estimate, design and install industrial process control systems and instrumentation.
- Demonstrated experience in project, including effective planning and management of project schedules within times, resources and quality constraints.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor.
- Provide regular updates on project status through accepted communication modes
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience and ability to lead teams to design and implement customized complex and/or standard engineering solutions, typically undertaking all aspects of a large project (i.e.
- Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, Database Configuration) to successful completion and within budgeted time and cost constraints.
- Proficiency in personal computer desktop applications including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation packages, databases, electronic mail, web browsers, and other specialized applications.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
