The non-drive end cover incorporates the Rota-lign™ bearing assembly for easy and safe adjustment of the rotor. This coupled with the tapered bore feature makes the design operator friendly and eliminates process and product contamination risk.

The USDA Dairy Accepted HDMF and BSMF rotary valves are based on the HDM/BSM valves and provide users with increased productivity through a design that realises minimal down time for frequent cleaning of valve internals.
Should full access be required there is also an option for drive end cover removal. A robust construction makes this fast clean range suitable for use in nearly all types of industry and with no special tools needed to gain access to the valve internal, it's very operator and process friendly.
Rota-lignTM Making Maintenance Easy and Safe
Our patented Rota-lignTM system for perfect reassembly does not require any further adjustment or checking of the body/rotor clearances or rotor orientation. It is a self-centralising rotor design to aid dismantling and re-assembly. So cleaning can be carried out by plant operators without special tools. It also simplifies bearing changes with zero or minimal adjustment.
External Washdown Meeting IPx9K
And even more innovative technology from Gericke RotaVal! The external cleaning option for our quick clean valves is now officially UKAS certified to IPx9K, currently the highest protection class for water ingress.
