Cereals and Cereal Bars
Handling your fragile ingredients with care
Various raw and intermediate dry materials and viscous liquids have to be mixed for the production of chocolate and cereal bars. The raw materials can be of natural origin or cereal based extruded particles. Gericke is the right partner to provide the complete solution upstream of the forming process, from raw material tipping, through automatic inline gravimetric feeding and including the mixing process.
Taking care of your ingredients
Gericke designed production facilities allow flexible recipe changes, fully automated and highly reliable. Our winning portfolio of in-house developed equipment includes the combined mixer type GCM and loss-in-weight feeders. This allows Gericke to seamlessly handle process challenges, such as separately feeding sticky ingredients like raisins.
The starting ingredients like fruit pieces, oat flakes, extruded spheres and various liquids are continuously metered and mixed inline in a very compact continuous mixer Type GCM. The mixer handles flow rates up to 2000 kg/h and can be equipped with heating jackets.
Easy to clean
Gericke has established special expertise so that even natural products like raisins can be fed continuously as you would liquids. For this application, special easy clean loss-in-weight feeders have been developed.
Gericke pays special attention to easy cleaning when designing the products, the process, and the plant layout. All equipment can be installed on mobile frames. This enables the cleaning to be done in a dedicated area, dry or wet.
